To achieve this one, players will have to double tap the R1 button. There are two more passes that are done using the R1 button in combination with others. Icon passing is done if players press the R1 button and one of the circle, square, or triangle buttons. They can also use the L1 button. A freestyle passing move is done by holding the R1 button while flicking the left stick towards the basketball player who should get the pass. The self alley pass is done by quickly tapping the triangle button followed by pressing the square button. A backboard alley-oop is done by quickly tapping the triangle button followed by the circle button. All these moves, along with other NBA Live 18 moves, can be practiced as many times as players wish before stepping on the court.
