NBA 2K21 MyTeam has a new mode. It is called MyTeam Limited and it is available to play only on weekends. It starts on Friday and it ends on Sunday. Each weekend comes with a new challenge as the rules for this new mode change each week. That's why this mode is called Limited; because each weekend comes with new restrictions. Here are some restriction examples: your team cannot include players over 23 years old or your team cannot have players higher than ruby. The developers have come up with some really creative restrictions that will put your team building skills to work. They also want players to make use of all cards in their collection, not just the high-rated ones. Don't worry, those high OVR cards are still valuable, but this mode wants to make all cards worth the time and effort spent obtaining them. To make it easier for players to find the eligible cards for each weekend, the ones that fulfill the week's requirements will have a mark on them. NBA 2K21 MyTeam Limited is an online multiplayer mode. Players will team up in parties of five and go against another team. The goal is to obtain Championship Rings. You can get one each weekend. Each time you win a game in this mode, you get a prize. Now get ready for a twist. You can see what the prize is but you don't necessarily have to claim it. You can exchange it for a mystery gift. You can also keep the initial prize, of course. The surprise gifts can contain all sorts of items. You might even get the current Championship Ring from them. As you can see, deciding whether to keep or exchange the first reward will not be an easy choice. The developers want you to give a good thought before making a choice. So you collect Championship Ring but what do you do with them? MyTeam Limited is connected to the newly-introduced Season feature. After the last Limited weekend of the Season, you can exchange the rings for prizes. This is a tiered-based system that rewards you based on how many rings you have. You will get rewards even if you have just one ring, but the more the better. If you have all the rings, you will get the grand Limited season reward.
